Where can I find more information on acholi cattle?
try acholinet.com for information on acholi related topics and material. or you can post your question about acholi cattle on acholinet.com acoli forum
Ehhh... I am not an expert, but are these not Ankole cattle. I thought the Acholi cattle had small horns.
These cattle are not Acholi cattle. These are Nyankole cattle. Acholi have short horn and very big and fat. Only Nyankole are identified with long horn cattle. I know it because when I was young I took care of my grandpa cattle before they driven away by Museveni an Karimojong in eightees.
May I ask if this was during museveni raiding on acholi? And if you are acholi yourself, I have heard that cattle was stolen during his reign
